I love using my air fryer to sauté vegetables, like carrots or asparagus. You can also sauté onions in the air fryer, and let me tell you, it is so good! You will love eating air fryer onions as a side, snack, or on top of your air fryer hamburgers!

  • 1 onion
  • avocado oil oil sprayer
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Cut the onion.
  • Spray the air fryer basket and place the onions inside.
  • Lightly spray the onions with oil and sprinkle on salt.
  • Cook in the air fryer for 380˚F/193˚C for 10 minutes, stirring at the halfway point.

  • 1 pound chicken
  • Seasonings to taste (I did salt and smoked paprika)
  • BBQ sauce optional, to taste

Instructions

  • Cube the chicken into bite size pieces.
  • Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  • Season the chicken with seasonings of your choice.
  • Load the skewers with the cubed chicken.
  • Place the skewers in the rack and place the rack inside the air fryer basket. Drizzle on BBQ sauce if you choose.
  • Cook for 350˚F/176˚C for 10-15 minutes. At the halfway point, turn the skewers and top with more BBQ sauce.
  • Finish cooking until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165˚F/74˚C.

  • If you are worried about the chips blowing around, take your air fryer accessory rack and place it on top of the chips.
  • Cook at 330˚F/165˚C for 6-8 minutes or until it reaches desired crispiness.

  • 4 honeycrisp apples or any apple of your choice
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons apple pie spice or all-spice any fall seasoning
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1-2 teaspoons cinnamon

Instructions

  • Peel and slice the apples into 16 slices per apple.
  • Mix together the flour and apple pie spice together in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and vanilla.
  • Mix the apples and flour mixture together in a bowl until coated.
  • Take a baking sheet with a wire cooling rack on top of it and dump the apple/flour mixture on top of the rack. Let the extra flour mixture fall to the baking sheet.
  • Place the apples back in the mixing bowl and coat the apples with the egg wash.
  • Using the excess flour mixture on the baking sheet, coat the apples again with extra flour mixture.
  • Place the apples in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with oil.
  • Cook at 330˚F/165˚C for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • When the apples finish cooking, top with cinnamon sugar mixture and enjoy while warm! We love dipping the apples in caramel!
