How to Cook a Full Meal in the Air Fryer
This air fryer meal is so easy to make. You can feed around 4-5 people in just one batch. It takes less than half an hour to cook and no longer than an hour to prepare and marinate!
This air fryer recipe is the perfect example of just what you can exactly do in your air fryer.
How to Make This Recipe
First, you will want to cut and prepare the chicken. I like to mix together the marinade ingredients (2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix, 1 tablespoon avocado oil) in a small to medium bowl. Then, I cut the chicken into bite sized pieces.
Next, I combine the chicken with the marinade and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
How to Cook Potatoes in the Air Fryer
While the chicken marinates, you can cook the potatoes and veggies in the air fryer. It will take about 10 to 15 minutes to cook potatoes in the air fryer, plus however long it takes you to cut the potatoes and other vegetable. So, plan accordingly with your marinating time.
To cook these potatoes in the air fryer, chop the potatoes, zucchini, and onion into bite sized pieces. Then place the potatoes, zucchini, and onion in the air fryer basket. Stir in 1 tablespoon of avocado oil then season with 1 tablespoon of Ranch Dressing mix, and 1/2 tsp pepper.
Cook the potatoes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minutes, or until the potatoes and veggies are nearly cooked through and almost perfectly tender.
How to Cook Chicken in the Air Fryer
Once the chicken finishes marinating and the potatoes, zucchini, and onions are almost cooked through, place the marinated chicken on top of the vegetables in the air fryer basket. Cook the chicken and veggies for 6-8 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.
Internal Temperature of Chicken
The chicken will be done cooking once it registers at 165 degrees Fahrenheit or 74 degrees Celsius.

Hi Cathy,
Good morning and greetings from Corning, NY. I’m a big fan! I bought your cookbook and really like it.
I have one favor to ask. When you post a recipe like this I hate looking at all ads!! It drives me nuts and I have to some how sort through it all just to print out the recipe. Why soooo many ads? It takes away from the great value and entertainment you add. So frustrating.
Thanks for listening!
Warm Regards,
Andy

We totally appreciate the feedback, though, and are always evaluating user experience, so THANK YOU for taking the time to let us know.
Hi Kathy:
Love your youtube and fabulessly frugal sites and the recipes. Quick question: where do I find the replacement recipes for the spiral cookbook. I recently had my computer overhauled and I missing some items so want to update the recipes that had some errors in them. Thanks so much!
Hi, email me and I will get you set up with those. stacy@fabulesslyfrugal.com
Just made this for the wife and I tonight. It was excellent, the cook time was spot on for my Pro II….I did change it a bit, I used 8oz of potato and 8oz of sweet potato sliced them kinda thin. I also did a Romano and will do two of them next time. Anyway thank you for this receipt and all your good advice on using AF. Very helpful to this 75 year young guy with his first AF….Thank you!
So thrilled to hear this, Doug! That is awesome!!!
