Fab Family Fun: 4th of July Treats
I’ve seen awesome creations all over the blogosphere for 4th of July treats. Nothing I thought of was as cute as some I’ve seen, so today I just want to share the love!
HowDoesShe has adorable patriotic rice krispies. I have full confidence that if I make these, they’ll turn out how they’re supposed to, even if I let the kids help. And I don’t have to buy anything to make them…it’s all in my stockpile! If you don’t have sticks, they will taste just as good without! Or you can get them at Michael’s using the 40% off 1 item coupon from Sunday’s paper.
Tidy Mom has a red, white, and blue cupcake tutorial. Check it out, they’re patriotic inside and out! Again, lovin’ that I have everything I need to make these…and feel like I can pull them off!
Or how about something cold? Family Fun shows us how to make simple, perfectly sized for little munchers, patriotic popsicles!
The recipe on the post calls for vanilla yogurt, but the tutorial uses cool whip and vanilla pudding. I would go the cool whip route because cool whip and pudding are both on sale at Albertsons this week, and because I like it better!
