Ingredients and Supplies You’ll Need to Make Air Fryer Frozen Hash Browns:
Ingredients:
- Frozen hash brown patties
Supplies
- Air fryer (Cosori Pro II)
Where can you find frozen hash brown patties?
Most grocery stores will have these delicious frozen hash browns in the freezer section. One of my favorites comes from Trader Joe’s. They fry up perfectly.
But, you can also find them at Walmart or Aldi, and taste just as delicious.
Can you use regular hash browns?
For this recipe, I would not try using regular hash browns in place of the hash brown patties.
Since the patties are denser they have to cook longer than just the shredded hash browns. If you try using fresh or frozen shredded hash browns they will most likely burn or get too crispy.
How to Make Air Fryer Frozen Hash Browns :
Step 1: Place the patty in the air fryer
Start by placing anywhere from 1-4 or 5 hash browns in the bottom of the air fryer making sure that there is a bit of space between the patties and none are overlapping.
Step 2: Fry the hash browns
Turn the air fryer to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C and let the hash brown patties cook for about 8 minutes or until they are done to your liking.
Step 3: Remove from the air fryer
When the hash browns are done to your liking, carefully remove the hash browns with a spatula or tongs and serve them with your breakfast.
