I am starting to believe TikTok is better than just crazy videos, especially since we came across this viral breakfast cookies recipe. It is fun finding new, exciting, and delicious recipes to try.

Sometimes the recipes work and sometimes they don’t. Check it out now if you want to see me testing out the air fryer breakfast recipes we found on TikTok. I will say these fantastic breakfast cookies were a hit. Others, well you can be the judge of that. 😉

Ingredients and Supplies Needed for TikTok Viral Breakfast Cookies:


  • Ripe bananas 
  • Peanut butter
  • Oats
  • Chia seeds
  • Chocolate chip


  • Air fryer (the Cosori Pro II is a great one to use!)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Fork
  • Spatula


Ways to Make it Even Healthier

While I would argue that this is a fairly healthy meal for breakfast, especially since it is a cookie, there are a few little tweaks you could make to make these even healthier. 

  1. Add in some flaxseed meal
  2. Leave out 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and add in a tablespoon of coconut oil
  3. Add a scoop or two of collagen powder
  4. Sprinkle in some unsweetened shredded coconut


What if I Don’t Have Ripe Bananas? 

For this recipe, it is ideal for making these cookies that you to have ripe bananas when making the breakfast cookies.

How to Make Breakfast Cookies in the Air Fryer:

Step 1: Mash Up the Bananas

Begin by mashing up the bananas in a mixing bowl, making them as smooth and lump-free as you can.  

Step 2: Mix the Batter together

Now, add in the peanut butter, oats, and chia seeds to the banana and mix it all together. 

Continue mixing until the peanut butter and bananas are covering everything.  


Step 3: Make Up the Cookies

Get out your fair fryer basket and prepare it by lining the basket with a piece of parchment paper. 

After the cookie batter is made up, scoop about 2 tablespoons of cookie dough onto the parchment paper and then press down slightly to flatten the cookies a bit. 


Step 4: Bake the Breakfast Cookies

Now, return the air fryer basket to the air fryer and turn it on to 350F or 175C for about 10 minutes, or until the cookies turn a slight golden brown. 


Note: If you are using the Cosori Dual Blaze air fryer then you can press the bake button before setting the temperature for the heating elements to set up perfectly.

I honestly could eat cookies any time of the day so I love the fact that these are pointed at breakfast since then it makes it okay to eat cookies for breakfast. Plus, they have peanut butter and chocolate so what’s not to love?!

  • Mixing bowl

  • 2 Ripe bananas
  • ¼ cup Peanut butter
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 3 tbsp Chia seeds
  • ½ cup Chocolate chips


  • Smash 2 ripe bananas
  • Add 1/4 cup peanut butter (64g), 1 cup oats, 3 tablespoon chia seeds.
  • Mix together and add 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
  • Scoop 2 tbsp or so onto parchment paper in the air fryer basket and press down lightly.
  • Air fry at 350 °F for 10 minutes.
