How to Make Air Fryer Chicken and Asparagus Dinner
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken and Marinade Sauce
Stir all of the marinade ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
Then, prepare the chicken breasts by slicing them into about 1-inch thick strips.
Mix half of the marinade with the chicken strips in a medium bowl and let it marinate in the fridge for at least 15 minutes or as long as overnight.
Next, mix the seasoning ingredients in a small bowl and set it aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Asparagus and Chicken
Once the chicken is done marinating, place the asparagus on one side of the air fryer basket and the chicken on the other side.
If you aren’t able to do all the asparagus at the same time, then cook it in batches to make sure it is cooked evenly.
After the asparagus and chicken are in the air fryer basket, sprinkle the seasoning blend on top of the chicken and the asparagus and then spray them with oil.
Step 3: Air Fry
When everything is ready in the basket, air fry it all for 8-10 minutes at 380° F (193°C), flipping the chicken at the halfway point, or until the chicken reaches an internal temp of 165° F (74° C).
Then, remove the chicken and asparagus from the air fryer basket and serve with rice or a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Top with the other half of the marinade, parsley, lemon wedge, or lemon juice, and enjoy!
