Ingredients and Supplies You’ll Need to Make Air Fried Cauliflower Rice:

Ingredients:

  • Frozen Cauliflower Rice
  • Frozen vegetable mix (peas, corn, carrots, green beans)
  • Toasted Sesame seed Oil
  • Soy Sauce
  • Garlic Powder
  • Ground Ginger

Supplies

Do I need to use frozen cauliflower rice?

While you don’t necessarily need to use frozen cauliflower rice, I would then suggest using fresh or thawed vegetables too. Otherwise, either your cauliflower rice will be over cooked or your vegetables will still be partially frozen.

Can I make my own cauliflower rice?

You most definitely could make your own cauliflower rice, however, for simplicity purposes and to speed up the process I have only used the ready-frozen version of the cauliflower rice for this recipe.

If you want to make your own, check out the recipe by the Minimalist Baker for how to make cauliflower rice. Again, just make sure to use fresh or thawed veggies if you choose to make your own.

How to Make Air Fried Cauliflower Rice:

Step 1: Prepare the rice and air fryer

To begging making air fried cauliflower rice, start by placing the cauliflower in an air fryer dish (I used a silicone pot).

If there are any large frozen chunks of rice, break it apart by shaking it or hitting it with a fork on the outside.

Place the pot in the air fryer and turn it on to 350 degrees F or 177 degrees C for 5 minutes to heat up the air fryer and the rice too!

Step 2: Season the rice

First, add 1 cup of frozen vegetable mix to the preheated rice. Then, stir it to combine.

Next, add the sesame oil and soy sauce to the rice and veggies. Again, stir it all to combine.

Lastly, add the garlic powder and ginger to finish seasoning the fried rice. Stir it all together to combine the flavors.

Step 3: Air fry the rice

Once the rice is seasoned and ready, air fry it all for about 5-10 minutes at 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C, or until rice is fried to your liking.

I started with 5 minutes and added more time as it needed until it was done to my liking.
