Air Fryer Stuffed Mini Peppers
Appetizers are always a great way to keep company and kids happy while you are hanging out and this Air Fryer Stuffed Mini Peppers recipe is a great one to serve.
It is super quick to throw together, plus when you use the air fryer it cuts down on the time it takes to make them without having to wait for the oven or oil to preheat.
Also if you want to see exactly how to make it, you can check out my video on YouTube where I explain how to make this recipe along with other great simple recipes to make in the air fryer!
Ingredients and Supplies You’ll Need to Make Air Fryer Stuffed Mini Peppers:
Ingredients:
- Mini sweet peppers
- Cream cheese spread
- Everthing but the bagel seasoning
Supplies
- Cutting board
- Knife
- Paper towel
- Small spatula
- Air fryer (Cosori Pro II)
Can this work for regular peppers?
Since we are looking for this to be more of a snack or appetizer, I would not use the large regular peppers.
Plus, you would have to use so much cream cheese. They are better used as a meal like our stuffed bell peppers dinner recipe.
Ways to change up this recipe
This is such a great recipe because you can change it and mold it to what you like. A few options are:
- Change the flavor of the cream cheese spread – garden vegetable would be a good option!
- Mix in some hot sauce to the cream cheese before filling the peppers
- Add in some chopped spinach to the cream cheese
- Pick a different seasoning to top the peppers with
- Brown some sausage to mix with the cream cheese
How to Make Air Fryer Stuffed Mini Peppers:
Step 1: Prepare the peppers
Wash the peppers and cut them in half lengthwise. Then, remove the seeds from the inside of the pepper. Pat the peppers dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
Step 2: Fill the peppers
Fill the peppers with the cream cheese spread, about 1-2 spoonfuls of cream cheese, although this depends on the size of each pepper and how much cream cheese you like.
I like to use enough cream cheese until it filled completely.
Step 3: Season and bake the peppers
After the peppers have been filled, place them in the air fryer basket and sprinkle each pepper with Everything But the Bagel seasoning on top to your taste.
Then, turn on the air fryer for 8 minutes at 380 degrees F or 193 degrees C or until the pepper is cooked to your liking.
Remove the peppers from the air fryer and enjoy!
Now time for dessert!

Thank you, Cathy! I make these as “healthy” nachos for my family, putting refried beans in them instead of cream cheese. I top them with low-cal cheese, jalapenos, light sour cream, and low sodium Salsa. I never thought about using my Air Fryer. I am going to try these today, they look so delicious. Thank you for the great new inspirational ideas!
Hey Sheila, this is such a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
Excellent, excellent, excellent. They came out perfectly the first time I made them a couple days ago. They are so yummy, that I am making more this evening. I make my own seed topping, by stirring together white sesame seeds, poppy seeds and granulated garlic, for a nice pop of flavor. Thank you for this great (and somewhat healthy, ha) air fryer snack, Kathy! Oh, and I use 1/3 reduced fat Philly cream cheese. A little less indulgent than full fat cream cheese, but just as delicious! This has taken mini-peppers to the next level 😉
