What type of potatoes to use?

This recipe will work great with russet potatoes, Yukon gold potatoes, or even red skin potatoes.

The key is making sure to follow the instructions to parboil the potatoes ahead of time to cook all the way through.

Frozen or raw chicken

When you are looking at the instructions for this recipe, we kept things super simple by using frozen breaded chicken fillets.

However, you can use raw chicken tenderloins and season them how you wish, whether you want to bread it or sprinkle a little salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on the chicken you can do that too.

Just be sure to adjust the cooking time for the chicken so you don’t dry out the chicken.

When you are ready to make the baked chicken, pop the par-boiled potato in the air fryer, give it a little mist of olive oil, throw on a little salt for flavor, and make sure to have the two frozen chicken breasts right next to the potato.
