How to make this into a hearty meal:
If you want to make sure that the baked potatoes in the air fryer can be a full-blown meal and filling, serve chili con carne, fork-tender pulled pork, or taco meat at the potato bar and serve it in a slow cooker.
When you add in a chili option, it adds to the amount of protein in the dish and can be a filling meal for you and your guests.

How to make this Air Fryer Baked Potato Bar:
Step 1: Prep the potatoes
Begin by washing the potatoes, but leave the skins on the potatoes. Then using a fork poke holes all over the potatoes.
This helps vent the potatoes and make sure they bake evenly. However, you don’t need to wrap the potatoes in foil like you might in the oven.
Step 2: Cook potatoes
Place the prepared potatoes in the microwave and cook them for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Season the potatoes
Carefully remove the potatoes from the microwave and then spray the parbaked potatoes with oil (either avocado or olive oil) and then sprinkle the potatoes with salt and pepper.
Step 4: Bake potatoes
After the potatoes have been seasoned place them into the air fryer and bake them for 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C until the potatoes are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Step 5: Top the potatoes
Carefully remove the potatoes from the air fryer, cut them in half, and top the potatoes with whatever toppings you like!
