Fun and Creative Ways to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Kids
I’ve never really celebrated St. Patrick’s day, but this year I decided to do something extra during holidays to make them more fun and memorable. Of course, the best way to do this is to bring your kids into the fun! So, today I am sharing with you different fun and creative things you can do on St. Patty’s day to make the day feel extra special!

1. Eat everything green
This is such a fun and simple way to recognize St. Patrick’s day in your home. You can either start dying all your food green or eat strictly green foods such as green muffins, asparagus, shamrock smoothie, or air fryer avocado fries. Your kids will (hopefully) love this one.
2. Make a Leprechaun trap
Bring a little luck and fun into your home with a homemade leprechaun trap. Check out everything you need to know to build the best leprechaun trap.
3. Make a rainbow
Whether you decorate your house together in all things rainbow, or make a simple rainbow craft like this Pot of Gold with your kids, making a rainbow will bring some St. Patrick’s Day cheer. You may also enjoy doing other St. Patrick themed crafts.
4. Plant Shamrocks
5. Eat Irish-inspired food for dinner
6. Learn the history of St. Patrick’s Day
7. Color St. Patrick’s Day pictures
My youngest loves to color pictures. So on St. Patrick’s day we will have so much fun coloring St. Patrick’s Day printables.
