Make this recipe your own:

While we love this recipe with the delicious red onion, bell peppers, and pepperoni slices, what is nice is you can make this recipe your own!

Pizza topping options:

  1. Chopped bacon
  2. Sliced mushrooms
  3. Ground sausage
  4. Black olives

Type of rolls to use:

You will want to choose premade rolls like a package of Hawaiian rolls or another premade dinner rolls.

How to store this easy appetizer:

If you have any leftover baked pizza sliders, place the sliders on foil in a single layer and in a large ziplock bag. Then store it in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.

How to make Air Fryer Pizza Sliders:

Step 1: Prepare the toppings

Dice the onion and bell peppers into small bits.

Then cut the dinner rolls in half lengthwise (while keeping the rolls together if you can).

Place the rolls on top of the parchment in the basket. *I was only able to fit 9 in my air fryer basket. Adjust as needed for your air fryer to keep it in a single layer.*

Step 3: Season and build rolls

Brush the garlic butter on the inside of the Hawaiian rolls.

Now, top the rolls with marinara sauce, 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese, the diced onions and bell peppers, and the rest of the mozzarella cheese. Then sprinkle on dried oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.

Brush butter on the inside of the top half of the rolls. (Leave a little butter to brush on top of the rolls halfway through air frying, if desired)

Final Thoughts

One thing I always grab at Sam’s Club are those double packs of Hawaiian rolls and this recipe works great with them.

All you have to do is pull out the rolls, and load them up with your favorite sauce and toppings! Then just air fry the rolls and you are good to go.
