Type of rolls to use:
You will want to choose premade rolls like a package of Hawaiian rolls or another premade dinner rolls.
How to store this easy appetizer:
If you have any leftover baked pizza sliders, place the sliders on foil in a single layer and in a large ziplock bag. Then store it in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
How to make Air Fryer Pizza Sliders:
Step 1: Prepare the toppings
Dice the onion and bell peppers into small bits.
Then, mix the garlic butter ingredients together in a small bowl until it is all combined.
Step 2: Prepare the air fryer and rolls
Open the air fryer and lay down a piece of air fryer parchment paper in the basket (without the holes).
Then cut the dinner rolls in half lengthwise (while keeping the rolls together if you can).
Place the rolls on top of the parchment in the basket. *I was only able to fit 9 in my air fryer basket. Adjust as needed for your air fryer to keep it in a single layer.*
Step 3: Season and build rolls
Brush the garlic butter on the inside of the Hawaiian rolls.
Now, top the rolls with marinara sauce, 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese, the diced onions and bell peppers, and the rest of the mozzarella cheese. Then sprinkle on dried oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.
Brush butter on the inside of the top half of the rolls. (Leave a little butter to brush on top of the rolls halfway through air frying, if desired)
Then, place the top half of the rolls on top of the mozzarella cheese and pizza toppings.
Step 4: Bake pizza sliders
Place the parchment basket inside the air fryer basket and air fry the sliders at 380 degrees F or 193 degrees C for 5-6 minutes.
If you have any left, brush on the garlic butter on top of the rolls.
Then, return the basket to the air fryer and air fry the pizza sliders for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted to your liking.
