Step 1: Prepare brussel sprouts
Begin by washing and trimming the ends of the brussels. Remove the outer leaves then cut the sprouts in half.
Step 2: Season brussel sprouts
Place the brussels sprouts in a bowl and add in the oil. Toss the sprouts to make sure they are coated in the oil.
Then, stir in the garlic, salt, pepper, parmesan, and panko with the brussel sprouts.
Step 3: Arrange sprouts
Get an air fryer parchment paper basket or an air fryer safe dish or remove the tray from the air fryer basket and place the sprouts face side down (best for making a crispy texture).
There should be extra breadcrumb/parmesan mixture in the bowl. Sprinkle this on top of the sprouts.
Step 4: Cook the sprouts

- Oil sprayer
Ingredients
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Garlic minced
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black pepper
- ⅓ cup Grated parmesan cheese
- ⅓ cup Panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Wash and trim the ends of the brussels. Remove the outside layer of leaves. Cut the sprouts in half.
- Place the brussels sprouts in a bowl and add in the oil. Stir to coat the sprouts in oil.
- Stir in the garlic, salt, pepper, parmesan, and panko.
- Get an air fryer parchment paper basket or an air fryer safe dish. Or remove the tray from the air fryer basket.
- Place the sprouts face side down.
- There should be extra breadcrumb/parmesan mixture in the bowl. Sprinkle this on top of the sprouts.
- Spray the sprouts with oil.
- Air fry at 380 °F for 10 minutes.
- Flip, spray with additional oil if desired, and air fry for an additional 5 minutes, or until sprouts are browned and cooked through to liking.
