Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is October 6–7, 2026.

The 48-hour sale begins at 12:01 a.m. PDT on Tuesday, October 6 and includes millions of Prime-exclusive deals across more than 35 categories.

You need an Amazon Prime membership to shop the Prime-exclusive Big Deal Days offers.

⏰ New Big Deals Will Drop Throughout Both Days

Here’s something important to know before Monday night: you do NOT need to stay up all night waiting for every good deal.

During Prime Big Deal Days, Amazon plans to release limited-time Today’s Big Deals three times each day:

• 12 a.m. PDT / 2 a.m. CT
• 8 a.m. PDT / 10 a.m. CT
• 1 p.m. PDT / 3 p.m. CT

Amazon says some of these limited-time drops will feature savings of 55% or more, with new offers appearing throughout both days of the event.

Should You Buy an Early Deal or Wait Until Tuesday?

There’s no rule that says a good early deal will get cheaper when Prime Big Deal Days officially begins.

Here’s how we approach it:

• If it’s something you already planned to buy and the price is genuinely good, an early deal can absolutely be worth grabbing.
• If you’re unsure about the price, wait and compare. Walmart, Amazon and Target will all have major sales happening at essentially the same time.
• Don’t rely only on the percentage off. What matters is whether the actual selling price is good.
• Check the return policy. That gives you some flexibility if a better price appears shortly after you purchase.
• Don’t let a countdown timer make the decision for you. A deal on something you didn’t need isn’t really savings.
