Can I cook the broccoli and chicken together in the air fryer?

Normally, with sheet pan air fryer dinners, it is always a great idea to cook the chicken and veggies together. And, this normally works. However, because we are cooking a lot of chicken, it just works better to cook the chicken first then the broccoli.

But, if you decide to half this recipe, and if your air fryer is big enough, you can cook the broccoli on one side of the air fryer basket and cook the chicken on the other side.

Do I have to use chicken thighs?

You can use any cut of part of the chicken to make this chicken teriyaki dinner! I like chicken thighs because they are juicy and tender. However, if you aren’t a fan, you can use chicken breasts instead.
