Jalapeno Cilantro Ranch Dip

I love making my own homemade dip. It’s easy, it typically costs less than buying pre-made dip from the store, and I always find it way tastier. This jalapeno cilantro dip recipe is so easy and the best part is it only requires a few ingredients: Cilantro, Ranch Dip Mix, Jalapenos, Sour Cream, and Mayo.

How to Make Homemade Jalapeno Cilantro Dip

To make your cilantro jalapeno dip, start by putting the jalapenos and cilantro in a food processor and blend until they turn into a paste.

  • If you like it hot, add a lot of jalapenos and the seeds.
  • If you don’t like it hot, then remove the seeds and just a couple of jalapenos.

I usually pull the cilantro leaves from the stems but you can also stick the whole thing in. The cilantro gives it a beautiful green color.

After the cilantro and jalapenos add the mayo and sour cream and blend or mix that. Then add the ranch dip mix. Blend one last time and there you have it; creamy, zesty, jalapeno-y goodness!

Serving Tips

This jalapeno cilantro dip is perfect for raw veggies, tortilla chips, potato or veggie chips, pita chips or anything else you have on hand. We love it on hamburgers at our house; it adds a little south of the border flair to your dinner! You really could add it to just about anything!

Yield: 2.5 cups | Serves: 8-10

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Sour Cream (8oz)
  • 1 Packet of Ranch Dip Mix
  • 4-6 Jalapenos
  • ½ Bunch Cilantro

Instructions

  1. Blend the jalapenos (remove the seeds for less heat) and the cilantro in a food processor or blender.
  2. Put mayonnaise and sour cream in Food Processor and combine until well blended.
  3. Add packet of Ranch Dip Mix. Combine until well blended.
  4. For best results refrigerate for an hour or you can serve immediately.
