Air Fryer Reese’s Peanut Butter Bites
Crazy Easy Air Fryer Peanut Butter Cups
If you’ve tried making fried Oreos in the air fryer, then you got to try to air fry one of my favorite candy bars, Reese’s.
While the Reese’s is great all by itself when you wrap the Reese’s cups in the delicious and buttery crescent dough, you’ll quickly realize after the first bite why you took the leap to make this sweet treat.
Ingredients and supplies needed to make Air Fryer Fried Reese’s
Ingredients:
- Reese’s or a different peanut butter cup of your choice
- Crescent roll dough
Note: With an 8 count crescent roll dough, you might be able to make 12 fried peanut butter cups.
Supplies:
- Air fryer
- Parchment paper or silicone mat
- Pizza cutter
This recipe is dangerously easy. Let me know if you agree after you make some.
First, lay out the crescent roll dough on parchment paper or a silicone mat. Place the 12 peanut butter cups on the dough, evenly spaced out.
Then, use a knife or a pizza cutter to cut around the dough around the Reese’s.
How to store air fried Reese’s:
Any leftovers you have (if any) can be placed in an airtight container and stored at room temperature for up to 4 days.
How thin to make the pastry dough for air fryer Reese’s peanut butter cups:
The dough can be about a ¼ of an inch thick or so. You shouldn’t have to do much more than roll out the dough. However, if you need to, take a rolling pin and use it to make it even.
Just remember not to make it too thin or it will be crispy on the outside instead of fluffy and buttery.
More candy options:
You can make so many different desserts with this easy recipe just by making simple switches of the candy bar. Here are some suggestions:
- Snickers
- 3 Musketeers
- Milkyway
- Payday
- KitKat
How to Make Air Fryer Peanut Butter Cups
This recipe is dangerously easy. Let me know if you agree after you make some.
Step 1: Prepare crescent dough
First, lay out the crescent roll dough on parchment paper or a silicone mat. Place the 12 peanut butter cups on the dough, evenly spaced out.
Then, use a knife or a pizza cutter to cut around the dough around the Reese’s.
Step 2: Air fry peanut butter cups
Gently wrap the dough around the peanut butter cups. Make sure to cover it completely.
Place the wrapped peanut butter cups in the air fryer. I was able to put all 12 in the air fryer basket. Cook at 380˚F or 193˚C for 6 minutes, flipping at the halfway point. No need to oil!
Carefully remove from the air fryer basket, and enjoy! Serve with some chocolate drizzle, sprinkle with powdered sugar, or melted peanut butter.

Final Thoughts
This recipe is crazy easy. As a peanut butter chocolate lover, it’s probably a good thing that we don’t always have Reese’s and crescent roll dough on hand. Because, I would probably make these everyday.
