Doing a lot of online shopping recently? Make sure to get the best bang for your back with these top cashback sites!

Cash back shopping sites

If you want to save money on websites like Amazon, Kohl’s (psst…check out our tips and tricks for shopping at Kohl’s), Nike, Old Navy, Macy’s, Michael’s, Best Buy, and many more, you’re going to love the cashback sites below! They make saving money so easy it almost seems too good to be true.

PS: If you’re like me and you do a ton of your online shopping on Amazon (I love my Amazon Prime benefits!) check out these other easy ways to save money on Amazon too. Combined with the rebate sites below you’ll be saving a small fortune each year!

1. Rakuten

Rakuten cash back site sign up

Rakuten Rewards (previously known as Ebates) is probably one of the most well-known cashback sites around. They’ve been around since 1998 and are currently partnered with over 2,500 online stores to help you earn cashback.

Here’s how it works:

  1. You go on Rakuten, click the store you want to shop at, and shop as usual
  2. Once you make a purchase, the store pays Rakuten for sending a customer (you) their way
  3. Once Rakuten receives that money from the store, they share it with you (it’s a win-win!)

It’s really that easy! Rakuten is constantly adding new stores and different deals as well, with some cashback rates going as high as 40%! Over time, these savings really add up, and they’re so easy to receive.

2. Swagbucks

Swagbucks cashback websites

Swagbucks was one of the sites we mentioned in our post on how to make make money taking surveys from home, but it’s SO much more than just a survey site. They have an entire shopping section where you can earn points for your purchases at stores like The Home Depot, Skip The Dishes, Best Buy, and many more.

Once you earn enough points, they can then be exchanged for gift cards or PayPal cash. Swagbucks has some unique offers and cashback rates so it’s definitely a good one to sign up for!

3. Cash Direct Club

Cash Direct Club with welcome bonus

Cash Direct Club, similarly to Rakuten and Swagbucks, offers cash back at hundreds of online stores including Walmart, Sephora, Michael Kors, and more. What makes the site unique is that they also offer cashback on things like personal loans, and even home purchases.

On top of that, Cash Direct Club offers varying levels of cash back depending on your purchase amount. The larger the purchase, the more cashback you can earn!

Just note that you’ll need to earn at least $50 in cashback before you can cash out.

4. MyPoints

MyPoints sign up

MyPoints doesn’t have a ton of unique features to offer when it comes to earning cash back online, but they do have other features I’m sure you’ll find useful. For example, they offer printable coupons and small earning opportunities that you can take advantage of.

They have over 1,900 cashback stores available on their site as well, so they’re a good all-in-one option! For each purchase you make you’ll earn points that can be redeemed for gift cards, similarly to Swagbucks.

Bonus: Capital One Shopping Price Protection

Saving money with Paribus

Capital One Shopping Price Protection isn’t necessarily a cash back website but it’s one of my favorite online shopping tools, so I had to include it as a bonus here. They are awesome because Capital One Shopping monitors purchases from 25+ major retailers with price drop policies to help you save money.

For example, if you bought something online and the price drops a week later, following the store’s price match policy, Capital One Shopping Price Protection would contact them to get you your money back. Pretty cool right?

Capital One Shopping is really hands-off and saves you money when you least expect it, and they monitor 25+ online stores. Read our full Capital One Shopping review to learn more or sign up here!

Note: Capital One Shopping compensates us when you sign up using the links provided.

Why Sign Up for Multiple Cash Back Websites?

That’s a good question. It can seem a bit silly to sign up for all five of the cashback sites above, but there is one potential benefit: each of the websites above will have slightly different offers.

  • For example, Rakuten may have cashback offered for the Target website, while all of the other sites might not.
  • Or, as another example, Swagbucks might be offering 10% cashback at Kitchenaid while all the other sites may only be offering 5% cashback.

All I’m saying is: if you want to be able to compare and find the best deals, signing up for multiple sites can be a good idea!

Final Thoughts

If you consistently use the cashback websites above each time you shop online, I guarantee you’ll rack up a good amount of savings each year. Especially if you’re a big online shopper.

Best of all, there’s almost no extra effort required here! You don’t have to clip coupons or even physically enter a store! Just shop your favorite retailers through the sites above and enjoy the easy savings.
