Other Ways to Get a Free Workout At Home
Looking for some other ways to get your workout in at home? I think you’ll like these three ideas below!
Dancing
Dancing is so fun it doesn’t feel like a workout at all, but it is! In just a half-hour of dancing, you can expect to burn anywhere from 200 to 400 calories (source). Pretty awesome, right?
On top of that, this is something you can do with your entire family! You don’t need any classes for this either, just put some of your favorite tunes on and start moving, jumping, and having fun 🙂
As we mentioned above, the Youtube channel The Fitness Marshall has some pretty fun dance workouts if you want a guide.
Video Games
Remember the Wii? The sports games on it can definitely have you breaking a sweat! If you have an old one lying around, this won’t cost you anything and you can get a fun and quick workout from home. The kids will probably want to get involved too!
Cleaning
I don’t know about you, but scrubbing, vacuuming, and cleaning the entire house is definitely a work out in my mind! And if you need to clean anyway, you’re killing two birds with one stone.
