Dancing is so fun it doesn’t feel like a workout at all, but it is! In just a half-hour of dancing, you can expect to burn anywhere from 200 to 400 calories (source). Pretty awesome, right?
On top of that, this is something you can do with your entire family! You don’t need any classes for this either, just put some of your favorite tunes on and start moving, jumping, and having fun 🙂
As we mentioned above, the Youtube channel The Fitness Marshall has some pretty fun dance workouts if you want a guide.
Remember the Wii? The sports games on it can definitely have you breaking a sweat! If you have an old one lying around, this won’t cost you anything and you can get a fun and quick workout from home. The kids will probably want to get involved too!
I don’t know about you, but scrubbing, vacuuming, and cleaning the entire house is definitely a work out in my mind! And if you need to clean anyway, you’re killing two birds with one stone.
With the free online workout classes and exercise routines above, you should have no problem staying fit at home! If you get bored of one routine or video, just try something new! You could even put together your own home exercise routine by combining some of the resources above.
