Kids Eat Free Deals 2026: Every National Restaurant Offer, by Day

Where Do Kids Eat Free? Your Quick-Answer Guide for 2026

Important: Updated 10/05/2026. Kids Eat Free deals change often and may vary by location. Most offers are based on one free kids’ meal per paying adult (sometimes dine-in only). Always confirm before you go.

“Eating out is expensive, so when we do, we try to pick a family friendly place that offers kids eat free. Mom and dad get a meal out and the bill is less!”

With kids, I know the “nobody wants to cook tonight” moment all too well — and a free kids’ meal can turn a night out from a budget-buster into a genuine win. I keep this list bookmarked on my phone for exactly those moments. Whether it’s a Tuesday night Bob Evans run or a Sunday BBQ at Dickey’s, there’s almost always a deal available if you know where to look. 😄

The biggest shift in 2026: more chains have moved their deals into apps and rewards programs. That’s great news for deal-hunters — you just need to download the app ahead of time. I’ll flag which ones require it throughout this list.

Quick tip: Save this page to your home screen. When everyone’s hungry and you can’t face the kitchen, just flip to the right day.

How This National List Is Built

This guide focuses on national chains and widely promoted offers. Because most restaurants are franchised, local participation can vary — treat this as a “check-first” shortlist. If you call ahead, ask:

• Is it dine-in only?
• Is it one free kids’ meal per adult entrée?
• Is there a minimum purchase amount?
• Do we need an app, rewards account, or promo code?

Not sure what counts as a “kids meal” at your restaurant? Here’s a helpful overview from Kids’ Meal (Wikipedia).

Smart Tips to Maximize the Savings

• Ask before you order. Most deals are one free kids meal per paying adult and can require a minimum spend. Don’t assume — ask when you walk in.
• Confirm dine-in vs. takeout. Many classic “kids night” deals are dine-in only. Third-party delivery almost never qualifies.
• Download the apps before you need them. Bob Evans, The Habit, Wendy’s, Chili’s, and Outback all deliver kids deals through apps or rewards accounts. Don’t wait until you’re already in the parking lot.
• Keep your promo codes handy. MOD Pizza (PIZZA4KIDS), Dickey’s (KIDS85), Freebirds (KIDSEATFREE and KIDSTIME), Red Robin (KIDSMEAL50), and Outback (JOEYFREE) all require a code. Keep a note on your phone.
• Stack rewards smartly. Tuesday nights at Bob Evans + app points = a consistently frugal dinner option that adds up over time. Mellow Mushroom Tuesdays through October 27 is now one of the best deals running — up to two free kids meals per visit.
• Check for seasonal specials. Back-to-school season brings a wave of limited-time kids eat free deals — bookmark this page and check back regularly as new ones are added.
• Wednesday is underrated. With Smashburger, Luby’s, MCL, Smokey Bones, and Rainforest Cafe (first Wednesday of the month) all offering deals, Wednesday rivals Tuesday as the best family dining night.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kids Eat Free Deals

Are these kids eat free deals available everywhere?

No — most offers are location-specific, especially at franchised restaurants. A deal running at one Denny’s or Chick-fil-A might not be at the one down the street. Always call your specific location before loading everyone in the car.

Is it usually one free kids meal per adult?

Yes, one free kids meal per paying adult entrée is the most common rule. Many restaurants also cap how many free kids meals can be redeemed per table or transaction. Notable exceptions: MCL Restaurant and Bakery offers two free kids meals per adult, and Mellow Mushroom offers up to two free kids meals per adult purchase.

Where do kids eat free this week?

Use the quick-answer box near the top of this page — it’s organized by day of the week and links directly to each day’s full deal list. For a reliable every-day option, Fogo de Chão offers free dining for kids 6 and under every single day, and Denny’s runs a 4–10 PM kids eat free deal at many locations daily.

Do I need an app or rewards account?

Increasingly, yes. Bob Evans, The Habit Burger, Wendy’s, Outback Steakhouse, Chili’s, and Capriotti’s all deliver their kids deals through apps or rewards accounts. Download the apps ahead of time so you’re ready when the offer drops.

Are these deals dine-in only?

Most traditional “kids night” deals are dine-in only. Some — like Bob Evans (app-based), MOD Pizza, Dickey’s, and Outback — allow online or app orders with a promo code. Third-party delivery almost never qualifies.

What if my kid doesn’t eat the free meal?

That’s parenting. 😄 The good news: a free or discounted kids meal still saves money whether it’s eaten at the table or becomes tomorrow’s lunch in a takeout box.
