5 DIY Dog Shampoo Recipes

For dog lovers out there, here are some homemade dog shampoo recipes you can make.  Make your own natural dog shampoo.  No more smelly dogs!

 1.  Homemade Oatmeal Dog Shampoo

YOU WILL NEED:

 1 Cup of Oatmeal

1 Cup of Baking Soda

4 Cups of Warm Water

1 Teaspoon of Dishwashing Liquid

10 Drops of scented fragrance (Optional: we had this left over from an old soap making kit)

Empty Starbucks Frappuccino bottle (Optional)

Avery Oval Labels, 22814 (Optional)

DIRECTIONS!

2.  DIY NATURAL DOG SHAMPOO

YOU WILL NEED:

 1 cup of natural liquid dish-washing soap

1 cup of organic apple cider vinegar

1 cup of warm water

2 ounces of glycerine

Empty container for shampoo

DIRECTIONS!

3.  Natural Dog Shampoo – Flea Removal

YOU WILL NEED:

1 cup liquid dish soap (I used Dawn for sensitive skin)

1 cup white vinegar

1 quart warm water

DIRECTIONS!

4.  Dog Shampoo for Dry Skin (without glycerin)

YOU WILL NEED:

Warm distilled water – ½ cup

Extra virgin olive oil – ½ tsp

Essential oil (optional) – 20-25 drops

Pure castile soap (peppermint scent preferable) – 3 tbsp

Organic apple cider vinegar – 1tbsp

5.  DIY Homemade Dog Shampoo Recipe

YOU WILL NEED:

Rosemary Stem– Rosemary tends to help keep their coat moisturized. This ingredient is especially important if your dog has a dry itchy coat!

1 Tbsp. Lavender essential oil– It will help to keep the fleas away while leaving your pet smelling great! Lavender can also help your dog to relax a bit.

¼ cup Distilled White vinegar – It has antibacterial agents and is also a deodorant, its odor does not stay once it has been washed off. Vinegar will also help to keep your dog’s coat shiny.

1 Tbsp. Organic Coconut Oil– This helps moisturize their skin and creates a shiny glossy coat.

1 Tbsp. Baking Soda– It will help to remove those smelly odors in your dog’s skin.
