Easy Slow Cooker Beef Stew Recipe
Cheap Beef Stew Slow Cooker Recipe
Looking for a whole hearty meal that’s easy to throw together for a busy day? This slow cooker beef stew recipe is just that! You can prepare it before you go to work, come home, and have a tasty meal ready to serve. How nice is that?
That’s why we love slow cooker recipes so much here at Fabulessly Frugal, they’re convenient and perfect for busy days! They’re also typically pretty inexpensive to make (especially if you shop smart) which is a huge bonus.
Prepping the Veggies and Meat
Start by washing and chopping all your vegetables. Feel free to change the vegetables up to include your favorites if you want! For my slow cooker beef stew, I went with onions, celery, carrots, and potatoes.
After you’ve done that, add the veggies and meat to your slow cooker. Use one of these awesome liners for easy cleanup!
Making the Beef Broth
To make the beef stew broth, put water, pepper, garlic, Mccormick seasoning, and if you want, liquid smoke, in a medium-size bowl and whisk it together well. It’s really as easy as that. Once it’s ready, just pour it over the meat and vegetables in your slow cooker.
Finishing the Beef Stew
Now that everything is in your slow cooker, it’s time to cook it up! Turn your slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours, and then wait around for dinner to be ready! Once the time has passed, serve your beef stew with fresh warm rolls or toasted bread. Enjoy!
