Christmas Tree Veggie Platter

A fun and easy veggie platter for your holiday parties!

Time to start thinking Christmas parties! I don’t know about you, but we have church events, family events, work events, and even parties with friends during the holiday season. There is always yummy food at these events including sugary treats and calorie packed comfort food. There is nothing wrong with these but I like to make sure I contribute a healthy option as well. That’s why I love this veggie platter because it is festive and full of yummy, healthy snack ideas! This takes about 10 minutes to put together too so that’s always a winner in my book! Check out just how easy this platter is to put together!

What you will need:

Yellow bell pepper
Grape tomatoes
Pretzel sticks

There really are so many great options for Christmas tree veggie platter. You could use cucumbers, red bell peppers, cauliflower, and much more. I happened to have broccoli, grape tomatoes, and a yellow bell pepper on hand so that’s what I used.

Start by cutting up your broccoli. You will want to cut off the big stem and trim your florets so they have small stems left on them. This part is probably personal preference, because it will be fine with ling stems, I just prefer mostly floret in my bite of broccoli.

Make sure to give your tomatoes a good scrubbing to get all of the wax off and dry them.

For the bell pepper, I washed, removed all the of insides, and cut in super slim strips.

Once you have all of your veggies rinsed and cut, it’s time to assemble. I assemble my veggie Christmas tree on a long serving platter to make it easier to transport!

After you get your tree assembled, add some pretzel sticks to create a tree trunk! Serve with ranch or a dipping sauce of your choice and you are done!
