Quick and Easy Holiday Treat Idea in the Air Fryer
I love how simple this recipe is! With the air fryer, you can have this recipe ready in 20 minutes. This recipe is so fun and easy!
Plus, you only need several ingredients for this recipe.
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon + ¼-½ cup sugar divided
- ½ tablespoon ground allspice
- ½ tablespoon ground cinnamon
- ½ tablespoon ground ginger
- ¾ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¾ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Soft Cream Cheese Center
You will love this recipe for the creamy and soft cream cheese in the middle. In a small bowl mix together 1 tablespoon of sugar and the softened cream cheese. I like to use a fork to mash the cream cheese and sugar together.
How to Make Gingerbread Bites
When you are ready to assemble the bites, unroll the crescent dough. Evenly place a tablespoon of cream cheese every couple inches or so on the crescent dough. You’ll be able to put 12-16 cream cheese centers on the dough- this will depend on how thick you want the gingerbread bites to be.
Then, I like to take a knife or a pizza cutter and cut the dough evenly into squares around the cream cheese.
After this, gently fold the crescent dough to cover cream cheese. Pinch the dough together so that no cream cheese can escape.
Gingerbread Bites in the Air Fryer
Once you are ready to cook, dip the bites into the spice mixture and cover completely. Place the bites in a lightly sprayed air fryer basket on parchment paper and cook for 8-9 minutes at 350°F/175°C.

OMG! I was just looking at recipes, got an email & it’s this recipe. I’m going to add much of it onto my shopping list. I’m hoping it will work with Splenda (diabetic) & I’ll play with the spices as I hate nutmeg & cloves – I’ll probably goes apple pie with some ginger. I’ll let you know how it goes.
