Will the taquitos cook well?

They will cook perfectly in the air fryer! What is nice about the air fryer is that you can get the same effect of cooking the taquitos in the oven in the air fryer but in a shorter amount of time.

Plus, this way it is easier to make them in batches to make sure they are always fresh and warm when you need them and in less than 10 minutes.

Can you stack the taquitos?

Whenever you are cooking in the air fryer it is best practice to make sure that the food isn’t overlapping too much to avoid the food cooking unevenly.

It is best to make the taquitos in a single layer and make them in batches versus overfilling the air fryer basket.

How to MakeAir Fryer Frozen Taquitos:

Step 1: Prepare the taquitos

When you are ready to cook the taquitos, place them in the bottom of the air fryer basket in a single layer making sure not to overlap the taquitos or they will cook unevenly.

Step 2: Cook the taquitos

Once you have the taquitos arranged in the air fryer basket, return it to the air fryer and turn the air fryer on to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees C for 8 minutes.

After 4 minutes open up the air fryer and either flip the taquitos or give the basket a good shake to make sure the tops and bottoms cook through.

Then simply remove and enjoy, or make another batch and start from the beginning.
