Frugal Christmas Craft Idea {Footprint Reindeer}

A Little Reindeer Fun for the Kids & a Homemade Gift!

Create little Christmas Reindeer with the footprint of your little ones. It only took a few minutes to put it all together and the kids enjoyed it! Give it to the Grandparents as a Christmas gift, use it on a Christmas card, frame it or keep it as an annual keepsake. It is especially cute with the little baby footprints! By the way, it is wonderful to have crafty friends. If you don’t have one yet, you should seriously consider finding one!

This project is pretty easy to figure out, but here’s what we did…

Brush brown paint onto the cute foot and press the foot gently on to the paper. Just use a baby wipe, or something like that, to wipe away the paint from the foot when you are done.

Let the paint dry a little bit. Stick the little one’s thumb into the red paint and gently press the thumb down on the paper where you want the nose to be. Then you can use a different finger for the blue paint to make the eyes.

Once the blue paint has dried a bit, get the black paint out and use a small paint brush to put a dot in the center of the blue eyes. Then paint the antlers.
My FAB friend used some cute letter stamps for her holiday greeting! You could also print some text on the paper in advance, use stickers, or practice some calligraphy. 😉 She saw this craft idea here.
