Once you bring your puppy home, here’s how you can introduce them to your home and family.
1. Keep it pleasant, but low-key at first
It is important to keep things calm and happy while you learn your new dogs personality. You don’t want to overwhelm him or her.

As mentioned earlier, this is a good way to get them housed trained and potty trained.
3. Start your training
The earlier you start, the better training experience everyone will have. It may be overwhelming at first, but it will be so worth it!
4. Set up a routine
A routine will help with the training process and help your dog or puppy feel comfortable.
5. Get your dog license
This is a legal requirement in many places in the US. However, check with your local officials to see if you need to get a dog license. Even if it isn’t required, it is still an important step. This will allow your dog to get back to you un the case he or she ever gets lost.
