homemade healthy fudgesicles

Healthy, homemade fudgesicles!

These are so much healthier than most of the other popsicle treats out there! Homemade is always nice because you have a better idea of what is in there. Plus, these are quick and easy to make.

Healthy homemade fudgesicles

Melanie and I both enjoy having a health shake each morning for breakfast. Melanie has been doing it for years now. Six months ago I asked her how she was staying so trim and eating what she wants. She revealed to me that she has been doing this health shake every morning. I decided right then and there I had to try it.

Melanie likes to pour 8 ounces of milk in a Blender Bottle, add 1 scoop of her health shake, then shake it all up to blend together. Quick and easy. I like to go the quick and easy route so I just put a scoop in with 1/2 – 1 cup of water stir with a spoon and drink it two swallows.

protein shake fudgesicles

These fudgesicles are made with honey, canned coconut milk, cocoa, vanilla, and a few scoops of my favorite healthy Chocolate Shake. It really only takes a minute or two to whip them up. Then you just have to be patient while they freeze overnight. (Unless you have one of those fancy popsicle makers that freezes them instantly, I suppose.) 😉

One scoop of our favorite Healthy Chocolate Shake includes 8 grams of protein, 2.5 grams of dietary fiber, and other essential vitamins and minerals. Nice way to add a boost of nutrition, plus it helps you feel full and satisfied. I think it is safe to say that these fudgsicles qualify as a yummy and healthy treat!

I LOVE my healthy chocolate shake. It is a great way to start my day with just 70 calories that help me feel full for hours. I got about 6 three-ounce popsicles with this recipe. Of course, the amount of popsicles will depend on the size of your popsicle mold.

Zoku Slow Pops Classic Pop Molds

I love these Tovolo popsicle molds, (great price) but I find they are a bit too big for my kids. Right now my favorite for popsicles is the Zoku Classic Pop Molds. Great size and easy to use!

Here’s another great homemade fudgesicle recipe for you!
