Air Fryer Chickpeas are simple, tasty, and so healthy! I love how crunchy and soft the chickpeas are when I make this recipe the air fryer. Plus, when I add the spices, it tastes oh so good. Feel free to experiment with different spices to get the taste you love. And, when I made this recipe in the air fryer, it is so much quicker than baking the chickpeas in the oven! That’s just one reason why I love my air fryer.

I can’t wait to share this amazing recipe with you! I know you’ll love this one as much as I do!

How to Make Air Fryer Chickpeas

This air fryer recipe is one of the simplest! All you need is one can of chickpeas and a seasoning mix of your choice. Check out the next section for seasoning inspiration.

For my seasonings, I did an 1/8 teaspoon garlic & onion powder each and ¼ teaspoon of paprika and cinnamon each! It was so good!

This recipe takes about 17 minutes. The best way to do this is in batches.

  1. Place drained chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer & cook at 390°F/198°C for 5 minutes to dry out the chickpeas
  2. Spray with oil (to make them crispy) then cook for another 5 minutes
  3. Shake or stir the chickpeas & cook for 3 more minutes
  4. Stir in half the seasoning mix onto chickpeas and cook for 2 minutes (or until they are done to your liking)

It is that simple to make chickpeas in the air fryer! You will love this one as a snack, side, topping to a salad, or to any of your favorite chickpea dishes!
