105 Cheap Date Night Ideas for Couples
I’ve been married for 20 24 years now, and I’ll be the first to say that having a successful and loving marriage takes work! If you don’t take the time to nourish it, your marriage relationship can evolve from a relationship of loving adoration into one that feels like you’re nothing but business partners managing home, work, and family schedules together.
One thing my husband and I have always tried to do is to make Friday night date night a priority each week (thank you for the great example, mom and dad). Rather than always doing dinner and a movie (that gets expensive real quick), or even worse, dinner and grocery shopping 🙂 … we’ve tried to get a little creative at times. Here is a list of more than 100 cheap date night ideas!
If you’re feeling stress in your marriage, take some time to have an open conversation about it… remember to stay at level zero and to look for the good in your partner! Also remember the difficulties you’re having right now will most likely be non-existent in 1, 3 or 5 years from now. Work through it together!
My other piece of advice? Go to a good marriage counselor before you get close to calling it quits! OK, off my soap box now…
