Halloween Banana Ghosts: A Healthy Treat
Hooray for a Healthy Halloween Treat!
I can imagine that some of you can relate…every year we reach a point where my kids have overdone it junking out on candy, cakes, sweets, and treats. In those little moments where they slow down in the midst of excitement and fun, I love it when there are some healthy Halloween party treat alternatives!
These bananas are so CUTE! They are super simple, easy, and quick to make too. The kids can make them as a Halloween party craft or you can easily make them ahead of time for a party.
Ingredients
All you need are bananas and mini chocolate chips. Two ingredients and only a few minutes!
I like choosing the smallest bananas available, still good old regular yellow bananas though because they end up being a cute snack-size when cut in half.
Standing the Banana Ghosts
Most of the banana halves will be able to stand on their own. But if some of them don’t stay standing, just cut the end again so it is at an angle that helps the banana half stay upright.
Conclusion
I hope you enjoy this simple and healthy Halloween party treat. It really is a fun one and I just can’t get over how silly these little banana ghosts look!
Tip: You can also try freezing the bananas for a cool treat. My kids love them this way.
