Easy Fat-Free Chicken Broth Recipe
How to Make Fat-Free Chicken Broth for Cheap
There are a lot of recipes that call for chicken broth but it can be pretty expensive sometimes to go out and buy it from the supermarket. That’s why I love this homemade fat-free chicken broth recipe.
Now surprisingly, chicken broth is actually really easy to make and there are several ways to do it. You can also save a lot of money by making it at home. However, what if you want it to be fat-free? Well, that’s surprisingly easy too!
Directions
Like I’ve already said, this homemade chicken broth recipe is pretty simple. Just boil a chicken with a bit of salt, onions, garlic and other spices of your choice. Once you’re done boiling the chicken, the fat is released into the broth, making it tasty but oily.

Put Your Fat-Free Chicken Broth to Use
After skimming the fat off the broth, you can use the broth however you want! I love to make a big batch of broth and freeze portions of it in Tupperware. That way, when I have a recipe that calls for chicken broth, I can just pull it out and use it.
I really love being able to make my own chicken broth at home because it saves me so much money! I also think it tastes better than the store-bought stuff but maybe that’s just the magic of some good old homemade cooking!
