Mountain dew Apple Cobbler recipe

Flavorful Mountain Dew Apple Cobbler

This Mountain Dew apple cobbler is super quick and easy and is fabulous served warm over vanilla ice cream. All you Mountain Dew fans are going to really like it! Even if you’re not a fan of Mountain Dew you would never know that this is the secret ingredient in this recipe. It’s impossible to tell!

Now, I’ll admit that at first, I thought this recipe was kind of funny. But, my husband is a big Moutain Dew fan so I thought it would be a novelty to try. It was actually really good and I would definitely have it again!

Now you already know this apple cobbler has Mountain Dew in it – that was pretty obvious from the title of this recipe. However, the real magic is that this is an apple cobbler with crescent rolls. Using the crescent rolls is what makes this recipe so easy & quick. Other than that, all the ingredients are pretty standard for an apple cobbler recipe.

I did change this recipe up a little bit, normally you would roll each apple slice up in a triangle of the crescent roll dough, then slather on the butter and brown sugar mixture and top it all off pouring the Moutain Dew around the edge of the pan.

I am a HUGE fan of more apples and less breading so I added more apples to the mix and put the entire crescent roll dough on the top. I also added 1/2 to 3/4 of the brown sugar mixture to the apples and the rest on the top (spreading evenly over the top).

Then, I poured the Mountain Dew around the edges and some in the small perforated holes of the crescent dough.  It turned out fantastic with a great rich flavor that was divine served warm with vanilla ice cream!
