Spring is here and summer is on its way! If you are looking for an inexpensive and easy way to spruce up your patio, check out these budget friendly tips! These tips are perfect if you need a low maintenance and easy way to make your patio look better. I don’t love hands on DIY projects, so you know these tips will be great!

1. Go to the thrift store
Thrift stores like Goodwill may have great finds that you can purchase for very cheap. Then place them on your patio to give it more of an authentic look. Or, if you need to refurbish it, check out these DIY home furnishing ideas for inspiration.
2. Use lights
Lights can go a long way when decorating your patio. You will want to make sure you find lights that are safe for outside weather. Check out a few of these top rated lights on Amazon.
3. Add patterns
Find pillows, throw blankets (outdoor friendly), rugs, or other fabric based items to spice things up on your patio. Adding a little color and pattern to your patio can really turn things around. 4. Low Maintenance Plants
If you are like me, you don’t actually want to put too much effort into your patio. That is why you should bring things to life with some low maintenance plants like succulents, burgundy Cordyline, cacti, or aloe vera. 5. Less is More
If you are working with small space or aren’t the most creative like myself, remember the mantra LESS IS MORE. Adding one or two large items that help define the space will go so much further than adding a little bit of everything. Remember that less is more and to showcase your personal style and taste on your patio.
