My sister shared this recipe she found with me on Memorial Day and we LOVED it!  I thought you’d like it too!

Easy Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of strawberries
  • 1 cup lemon juice (you can do fresh squeezed or just buy the bottle at the store – shake it good first!)
  • 1 cup sugar (add a little more if you want it sweeter)
  • 5 cups of water (I like to add ice to make 5 cups so the lemonade is nice and cold)

Instructions

  1. Blend lemon juice, sugar, only 1 cup of the water, and strawberries until desired consistency.
  2. In a separate pitcher, add the remaining 4 cups of water with mixture.
  3. Enjoy!

Put the lemon juice, sugar, and ONLY 1cup of ice water in your blender, then add the 2 cups of whole strawberries.

You can blend it until the strawberries reach a chunky stage or blend longer until they are more pureed.

Put the concentrate in a pitcher and then add the remaining 4 cups of chilled water.

Then all that is left is to ENJOY the delicious strawberry lemonade!

Here’s how to freeze just the concentrate:

Easy Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Concentrate {For Freezing}

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of strawberries (1 pound pureed)
  • 1 cup lemon juice (you can do fresh squeezed or just buy the bottle at the store – shake it good first!)
  • 1 cup sugar (add a little more if you want it sweeter)

Instructions

  1. Blend and then pour into a quart sized freezer bag and freeze! When you’re ready to use it, thaw and add 5 cups of chilled water and stir (I even like to blend it frozen for a slushy drink)! Or for a tasty treat, add 1 liter of Sprite to the concentrate!

Comments

  1. I love that there is a concentrate recipe as I am thinking about using this in a Frozen Pink Lemonade Pie. Question: How many ounces of concentrate does this recipe make? The recipe I want to make calls for 14 oz. of frozen pink lemonade concentrate.

  2. I just made this for super bowl today. It was awesome and so refreshing. Thanks.

  3. I am trying to get the Dr. Pepper Pulled Port recipe but it keeps bringing me to the Strawberry Lemonade recipe.

  4. Just made this in our VitaMix. Turned out so yummy. Great way to use left over strawberries that don’t look so great for eating but are still good. Really fast and easy.

  5. What is the calorie content of this lemonade for an 8oz glass?

    • Not gonna lie… I have no idea! :) Is there an app for that?

You can use Myfitnesspal.com and make a recipe of this, which will tell you how many calories per “serving”. You’ll have to measure everything, then determine how much this recipe makes, then you determine what you think the serving size is, whether a cup or whatnot, but I use the site, and use that function of it and have lost over 50lbs with the help of it. You could save some calories and use Splenda instead of sugar, too, or Stevia.

  6. Oh I do love my Blendtec! I think you will too!

  7. Lauralee says:

Thanks for the recipe! We just got the blendtec at Sams Club (they were there as vendors/travel show) got a pretty good deal but would have had a better deal at Costco.com if we would have waited. Anyway…getting really excited about using it. A food processor, grain mill, meat grinder, blender, ice cream maker, soup maker… all in one!! Love it. If it lives up to all it claims to be (they did demos of it)then I will be getting rid of 5 different appliances I already have too. :D
