Easy bat treats for Halloween

Super easy and adorable 4 ingredient bat treats!

I love Halloween because it means the weather has cooled down, there are pumpkin patches, hot cocoa, and adorable little treats. These fun bats are totally an example of this.

I love going to the Halloween parties at the kids’ school because you get to see all of the fun little treats the other parents have made! These bats would be perfect for a class party or a Halloween party too!

Check out just how easy they are to make! (You can use many of these same ingredients to create these other easy Halloween party treats too!

What you will need:

Ingredients for bat treats

Unwrapping the Reeses

First things first… unwrapping all your mini Reese’s cups! If you have little ones, put them to work! 🙂 I left the wrapper on the chocolate itself but removed the gold outer wrapper.

Separating the Oreos

Next start taking apart your Oreos. I used the thin Oreos for this because they are smaller and lighter and will stay attached better to the candy. Plus, I don’t feel as guilty snacking on the ones that I broke in the process!

I separated the two halves of the Oreo and then scraped out the cream filling. What I did with it… well… haha, let’s just say I probably gained a pound making these adorable little bats. Do what you will with the cream filling but you don’t want it on your Oreos for this treat.

Once they are separated and scraped of their delicious cream filling, break them in half to make the wings. Next up, let’s attach the wings to the body.

Making the Bat Treats

To attach the wings and eyes to the bat body, I used cream cheese frosting. I just took my frosting and put it into a little piping bag. Put some of the frosting on the corners of each Oreo wing and attach them to the mini Reese’s cup.

Once you’re done with that put some frosting on the back of each eye and place those on top of the wing.
