How to Make Glitter Slime Without Borax
Ready to learn how to make glitter slime in 5 simple steps? Let’s get started!
DIY Glitter Slime Ingredients:
- 4 oz. clear Elmer’s glue
- 1 tbsp contact solution
- 1/2 tbsp baking soda
- 2-3 drops gel food coloring (I used pink but you can use any color you want! I recommend a Gel food coloring and make sure it’s a deep/rich color)
- 1 tbsp iridescent glitter
Step 1: In a bowl, mix glue and baking soda and mix well.
Step 2: Add glitter and food coloring and mix until incorporated.
Step 3: Add the contact solution and mix until the slime starts to become solid.
Step 4: Near the end, you’ll need to use your hands to mix the slime.
Note that if the slime is too sticky, add some more contact solution!
Step 5: Grab, squeeze, and drip your slime!
It’s actually quite relaxing to play with the glitter glue slime! Kids will definitely have a lot of fun with it but I myself enjoyed it as well!

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix glue and baking soda.
- Add glitter and food coloring, mix well.
- Add contact solution and mix until slime starts to become solid.
- Finish mixing the slime by hand and add more contact solution if it is too sticky. Enjoy!
