Spring is a great time to declutter. Before you throw away all of your unwanted items, check out Give Back Box, a nonprofit organization that helps you donate gently used clothing, shoes, toys etc. You can make a major difference in the life of another person. How it works:

GIVEBACKBOX makes donations easier than ever! Your boxed donations can now be dropped off with FREE donation drop-off at any Kohl’s location using your smartphone and a QR code. Simply take your sealed donation to The Return Drop inside any Kohl’s.

It’s that easy! This is such a great way to declutter your house and to safely donate your items to help someone else in need. 

An estimated 11 million tons of clothing, footwear, towels, bedding, and other textiles end up in U.S. landfills every year. Additionally, online shopping is the preferred method of buying (especially now more than ever due to the pandemic). In hopes to reuse boxes from online retailers and give clothing, toys, and household items new homes to people in need, Give Back Box was created. 

Give Back Box has partnered with over 50 retailers such as Amazon, Newegg, JCPenney, Fanatics, Stitch Fix, Nordstrom, and many more. You can use boxes from these partners, or any sturdy cardboard box you find. 

When you donate, you can choose your own charity, choose from charities for children, women, homeless, animals, or people with disabilities. This makes giving away your own items so much more meaningful than dropping them off at a local secondhand store.
