Make these cupid floats for a fun and festive holiday treat!

These fun floats can be used for any holiday that uses the color red, but I find they are especially fun for Valentine’s Day! They are super cute and even easier to make! Think root beer floats, but with a twist! Check out just how easy these are to make…

What you will need:

Vanilla Ice Cream
Red soda (I used Strawberry Fanta!)
Red Licorice

First things first, find yourself a serving glass. I am a big fan of mason jars for these because, well, to be honest, there’s more room for the goodness inside.

ice-cream

Add a few scoops of your vanilla ice cream to your cup. You can get even more festive by adding a pink ice cream like strawberry or cherry. I personally like the contrast of the pink soda and the vanilla ice cream! But you can make them however you please!

Next, you pick out any fun flavored pink soda. For mine, I like to use strawberry Fanta! There are some other fun ones out there from Cherry 7up, Sprite, and MORE! You pick!

There are no real measurements here. I just pour until my little heart is content. Make sure you do leave some room for the foam though.

Top your float off with a red licorice straw. The Red Vine brand is best for this because you can use it as a straw.

That is it, super simple, fun, yet festive too!
