      • Jean Lewis

if you go email couponsavvy.com you can get the schedule for the next seminar for extreme couponing and they usually have great deals on the sunday paper. I am getting the Tacoma news tribune for a $1 per paper delivered

  • Jessica

Any deal in the works for the Seattle Times? 🙂 Thanks for all that you do!

    • Amber

I cannot confirm or deny! 🙂 Stay tuned….

    • Harmony

I live in Mountlake Terrace, WA and am totally new to couponing. I did find that in my area at least, the Seattle Times only carries one insert (can’t remember SS or RP) but the Harold carries both every Sunday.

    • Denise

I said this down below but wanted to make sure that you got it! You can receive the SEATTLE TIMES SUNDAY paper for just $24 for the YEAR This deal will EXPIRE on July 15th and you can only get ONE paper with this deal. Remember the TNT has the most coupons, but this could be a nice addition for a low price. Use offer code: SUNO24IS Note: This deal is only good in Kitsap County, Pierce, King & Snohomish counties. HOPE THIS HELPS EVERYONE!

      • Lindsay

Thank you SO much for this deal. $24 for a year is an amazing offer, I’m so glad you posted this!

        • Debbs Seattle

I get the Everett Herald but signed up for this one copy special because even though they don’t have the red plum they do get different smart source coupons and they are a nice addition to have.

  • Hanan

    No Eastern WA? =(

  • Beth

Why won’t the Oregonian or the Columbian (SW Washington resident) do a deal for their readers? It seems like all the other newspapers do it… The Oregonian won’t do a deal for their SW Washington readers, though they have had deals for their Oregon readers… only certain counties, though. Sigh… I’d love one of them to jump on board. Until then, I pay the $2 at the store since it is $2.75 to get them delivered.

    • Nancy Hunter

Beth…have you gone to your local Dollar Tree store (I’m also SW Washington) where you may be able to get the Sunday Oregonian for a dollar. I get our local Sunday paper and the Seattle P I for a dollar each on Sunday. They run out so call ahead and see if they have them and then be there early!

    • Debbs Seattle

The coupon blog sites seem to have the power to tell the papers that they have readers that would like to subscribe to multi-copy deliveries at discounted prices. Everytime I contacted my papers to inquire, I got nowhere, and they don’t even seem to understand that $3 a copy home delivered is no bargain when newstand price is $2 per.

Email the local matchup site in your area, and see if thier experise and blogging prowess can get a deal to come together. Prepaid is what the ‘deals’ for my papers have been and that would make sense to the newspapers to get a large influx of cash up front from thier subscribers.

My one copy subscription was $24 for 52 weeks, sunday only.

My 5 copy subscription was $99 for 26 weeks, 5 sunday editions + 1 daily.

  • Megan

I e-mailed the Seattle Times about my disappointment that they do not carry both coupon inserts anymore! I actually got a call back and I suggested they continue with both inserts and offer a deal for couponers!! (I actually told the woman about your site and the Idaho Paper deals)

On another note.. I get the News Tribune at Walmart for $1 and will probably continue to do so because I only buy a few papers when there is one insert and when there are 3 inserts I usually buy more than normal. It’s too bad they don’t offer at least a little bit of a discount for getting more papers!

HOWEVER! Thank you FabFrugals for thinking of us Washingtonians!!

    • Amber @ couponconnectionsnw

Megan- I have been talking the the Seattle Times weekly and all they say is I will keep you posted. Like the Herald Deal persistence on my part paid off and they did this 🙂 So I would just keep asking 🙂

      • Amber

Me too, Amber & I think they are getting sick of me!! I hope they know we are 2 different Ambers calling or they would for sure think we were harassing them! 🙂 Maybe if they get enough pressure from readers/ deal bloggers they will finally cave! My fingers are crossed!

  • Heather

Oh Thank you! I am so excited! I have been asking each time I call in to the Olympian/TNT whether they would have a multiple sunday paper subscription and I’ve always gotten the run around. I can’t wait to sign up for this!

  • Tricia

Has anyone talked to the Spokesman Review? I know they haven’t been open to doing a deal in the past, but I would LOVE one. It’s so expensive to buy them at $2 per paper!!

    • Monica

We are working on them! 🙂

    • Tanya

You may contact this newspaper delivery person for the Spokesman Review here in the Eastern part of Washington. He’s from Ephrata, WA and delivers in Wenatchee, WA. He only charges $1.40 per paper. Here’s his phone number…1-509-771-3997. Also, if there are no coupons on a holiday weekend, you’re not obligated to buy that weekend. It works out for me.

He meets you anywhere, as long as, it’s one of his delivery stops. He wants more people to know about him. His name is Jim.

  • I love your site, it’s just what I needed for my grocery shopping and I agree with Beth, need a deal for SW Washington people! I’m going to have to incorporate some of this into my site.

  • Teri

Do you know if the code was added for the Tacoma News Tribune, yet? I plan to call on Monday. Thanks for working on this!!!

  • Cathy

This is awesome! Please let us know what you find out about the Seattle Times! Thank you for all you do – you are making my life so much easier – I totally appreciate all of your hard work!!

  • Phil

The News Tribune had an insert in the 8/8 paper offering a Sunday Only subscription for $20 for 1 year. It is a prepay subscription and they will allow multiple subscriptions at $20 each. The only caveat is that you must not have subscribed to home delivery in the past 30 days.

  • Liz C

I love this deal you have w/the newspapers! However I’m in So. Oregon & we don’t get the Sunday paper. I’ve been told the Saturday paper only comes w/coupons once a month. Yesterday I purchased 2 Mail Tribune’s (Medford, OR) sunday paper. We just recently moved from San Diego & coupons were plenty!

    • Cathy

Cool Liz! We’ve been trying to get a paper deal in OR, but they just won’t budge. Maybe if enough people call and bug them, they’ll change their ways!

  • Megan

    Anything for the Spokane area?

  • Deb Ryan

Hello. I was wondering if you have anything working with the Yakima Herald? They want $72 a year for ONE Sunday only–and we don’t get Albertsons Twice the Value inserts. I’ve tried to get the Richland paper mailed here–but they will not have the coupon inserts. Any hope for Yakima, WA???

  • I love your website and appreciate everything you do!

I do not see anything posted regarding the Everett Herald Newspaper deal going on currently. I just signed up to receive five Sunday papers for six months (130 Sunday papers) at the price of $99. Only .76 cents per Sunday paper. However, this deal also includes daily delivery of one paper Monday through Saturday. The Everett Herald does not offer five Sunday only deals. Once a person has signed up for the deal, they will get the same deal as long as it is offered.

Again, thank you for all you do!

    Juli B

  • Michelle

Thanks so much! I just signed up for my 4 papers, can’t wait till Sunday! No more dissapointing trips to the store for more papers only to find all the inserts have been taken!! YAY! You ladies rock. 🙂

  • Lia

Just signed up for 3 Sunday Editions of the Tribune as the Olympian doesn’t get as many inserts here in Olympia. Thanks for the DEAL FAB FRUG

  • Paula

How come the hearld doesn’t carry albertsons double coupns and only the seattle times does?

    • Beth

I get the Herald – Everett and it always has the Albertson’s doubles in it. Also, if you’re in Marysville the Globe has coupons occasionally and you don’t even have to subscribe, it comes in the mail, just open it up occasionally. It’s like Christmas!

  • Jennifer

Any deals for E. Washington Residents?

    • Kristy

I work in the Circulation Dept of the Yakima Herald Republic with delivery area in the Yakima Valley, Lower Valley including parts of Prosser, Goldendale, Ellensburg and Cle Elum. We are just starting a “COUPON CLIPPER” program for the Sunday paper: receive 5 copies of YHR @ $15 per month. It MUST be set up on EZ Pay, with automatic withdrawal the 5th or 15th of each month.

I would suggest combining this with our 7 day a week promotion, also on EZ Pay. It is a tiered promotion meaning the 1st-6th months @ $7 per month, 7th-12th month @$10 per month.

Combining the 2 specials will get you 6 copies of the Sunday paper plus the Wednesday paper with all the grocery store ads.

You can call the Circulation Dept at 509-577-7755 for complete details.

  • Jill Chamberlin

Please hurry and get us a deal for Spokane. I am buying 4 – 5 papers a week at $2.00 a piece and I’m wondering if I am really saving that much money by doing it this way. When I called the Spokesman Review and talked to the lady she was so rude about it. Why can’t people just be kind? So I’m hoping and praying that they will offer a deal very soon.

  • Lanette

Hi , I thought I was getting ripped off on the Seattle times .. Does the news tribune have all the coupon inserts? I have another stupid question : ) can you get the Sunday Papers on Saturday in the stores?

  • Denise

You can receive the Seattle Times Sunday paper for just $24 for the year This deal will expire on July `15th and you can only get one paper with this deal. Remember the Tacoma Tribune has the most coupons, but this could be a nice addition for a low price. Use offer code: SUNO24IS Note: This deal is only good in Kitsap County, Pierce, King & Snohomish counties….

  • Ashlee

WE live in Bremerton Wa and each week there are 2 navy papers that are FREE and avaialble off post that each come with at least 1 coupon insert but sometimes 2 each 🙂 It saves money vs buying a number of papers, and Id be happy to pick up a few extra and mail them to you if you like 🙂 Last weeks coupond for tic tacs rocked at the commissary i made .24 on each 🙂

    • Brooke Alexander

i’m in Belfair and shop at the Bremerton Commisary, where do you pick these up?

      • Ashlee

The 7-11 near safeway in bremerton has them. Just by using these papers and coupons in the commissary I have been able to donate over $5000 worth of products to the salvation army and womens shelters

    • Maariet

Ashlee-what two papers are these, and do you know if they are available elsewhere? Would love to at least get a copy to check them out see if they are worthwhile for me.

  • HELP! I’M going to fanit!

  • Rachel

I personally just get 1 sunday paper a week delivered but only because I have already signed up… but for those of you who dont know… You can get Sunday Papers for $1 at the dollar store and at Walmart. I know the dollar store by me allows me to buy 3 at a time. So i usually buy 3 and my mom buys 3. And get the rest diggin in recycling bins. But i suggest getting them for $1 per paper instead! 🙂

  • Randi

I wish the Oregonian would do a Sunday only deal!! I hate paying $2 a paper, but have no other option. 🙁

  • Heidi

i just renewed my subscription with The Everett Herald – was going to cancel because they didn’t have a “couponers” special, but now they are offering six months of daily papers plus 5 copies of the Sunday paper (the herald includes smart source, red plum, and always seems to have the albertsons doublers when they’re available) for $99. that’s a pretty sweet deal to me, since buying them at the newsstand (if i could even find them any more) would run me $195.00 for 5 papers every sunday. 🙂

  • Pam

Can you help get us a deal with the Spokesman Review in Spokane, WA?

  • Audra Beatty

Spokesman Review… have you gotten anywhere with them? Please update us.

    thank you

  • Heidi

Don’t know if this has been mentioned or not yet, and too lazy to read thru all the posts, but for Snohomish County, Washington, the Everett Herald has a couponers special — $99 for six months of daily delivery (can’t opt out of that, unfortunately for me) and five Sunday papers. Pre-pay via credit/debit card only. Call the Herald subscription services for more info. :0)

  • AngieK

This might sound like a stupid question but I live in the Kenmore area of Washington and was wondering if anyone knows if I can subscribe to the Everett Herald? I buy the Seattle Times weekly at the grocery store but with only one insert it doesn’t always seem sensible to do so and I missed the great subscription deal that expired in July.

  • lacey

I too would love something for the Seattle Area…and I will stay tuned!

  • Annett

I wish the Oregonian would offer a deal. The paper is $2 each. I check with them every so often to see if they have a deal. Right now I only get 4 papers per week but that adds up too.

  • Terry

I found out just over a month ago that Smart Source pulled out of our local paper (along with others). I have been so disapointed as it was the only local paper that carries coupons at all. I’ve sent several e-mails to Smart Source asking why they did this, but they don’t reply. Any idea why they would pull out of a paper?

  • Kristin

I just moved to Kitsap County and was wondering if you knew of any newspaper deals that are current, or where I can find them. Thanks!

  • Kristyn

Just called New Tribune, the EZ pay deal is no longer available at the price listed here. 🙁

    Dollar Store it is….

  • Cindy

Hey! Just wondering if there’s any updates on this? I just started and would like to know what newspaper multiple subscritions are available for Yakima. Wa. residents.

  • Karin H.

Are these specials still available? I received a notice that the price was going up to $2.25 each for The News Tribune.

  • Kim

I received a notice about a month ago as well. I began my subscription about 18 months ago and apparently there is no such thing as being grandfathered in at the low rate. At least that is what I was told by the News-Tribune.

  • V. Pakse

If you are buying your Sunday paper at Dollar Tree, check and make sure that all of your Inserts are there before you purchase it. Last week I bought 3 Sunday paper, took it home and discovered that they do not have any Inserts. I can’t return the paper, but I let the store mgr know.

  • Kimberly

i would love the Wenatchee World 🙂 that is for my local area….

  • Kimberly

i would love to see the Wenatchee World for my local area 🙂

  • Michelle G.

I just moved to Vancouver, WA and was wondering if you know of any newspaper deals for SW Washington?

  • Pam

Is there a deal for The News Tribune? I am getting back into couponing and find a deal for multiple Sunday papers.
