Do you love the cool, refreshing taste of a Wendy’s Frosty, especially during the summertime?   This is one of my favorite summertime treats and this recipe is dangerously easy to make with only 3 ingredients!  All you need to recreate this frozen Wendy’s Frosty Copycat Recipe from your own kitchen is Cool Whip, Chocolate Milk and Sweetened Condensed Milk!

Wendy's Frosty Copycat

This Wendy’s Frosty Copycat recipe can be made in a blender or an ice cream maker.  I made the blender option and all I did was add the ingredients to my blender, whizzed it, then froze it in the freezer for 2 hours (stirring it every 30 minutes).  You can also make a low fat version of this recipe by using low fat versions of the ingredients. Make up a big batch for your next party or family treat. This Wendy’s Frosty copycat recipe is so easy to prepare, even your kids can make it, without too much supervision.  I was so impressed by how spot on the taste and texture of this recipe was. It’s as close to a Wendy’s Frosty as you can get without getting in the car  and driving over to buy one!  Now if only I had some fries…

For the blender recipe, do you use cool whip?

My husband and I love Frostys. Is there anything I can use in the place of cool whip?

You’d probably want to stick with cool whip, just because of its consistency. You could test out heavy whipping cream, but I’d mix it until it’s fluffy, then add in the other ingredients.

Can I use chocolate almond milk instead of regular milk?

    • Marisa

I use almond milk and chocolate milk powder like Gordon Ramsey. This recipe is not legit Wendy’s recipe. Wendy’s is a low calorie liw fat ice milk. No coolwhip.

I use almond milk stop and shop hot chocokate mix and cream with ice. Frostys are ice milk. The moment you add cream it’s ice cream.
