Popsicle Stick Scarecrow Craft
A cute Fall craft to make with your kids, to celebrate the beginning of the Fall Season.  This is super easy, a great project for your 3 year old…with help of course if you are using a glue gun to keep it all together.  I happened to have some Popsicle sticks lying around, as well as some scrap papers, so we whipped out this cute little guy in minutes, and added him to our holiday decor.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
8 Popsicle sticks
small piece of cardboard
paint or markers
scrap papers
glue gun
ribbon or raffia for a handle
DIRECTIONS:
Lay out 7 glue sticks side by side. Â Cut down a piece of cardboard the slightly smaller than the length and width of the 7 sticks.
Glue the 7 Popsicle sticks to the cardboard. Â Angle the last stick to make the brim of the hat, and glue to the other sticks. Â Embellish with the scrap papers, some eyes, hair and a flower for the hat. Â Glue a piece of raffia to the back to make a handle to hang on a doorknob. Â You could make it a magnet as well to hang on the fridge.
