DIY Valentines Day Card on a Budget!

It is time to start thinking about Valentines for your child’s classroom. Before you know it, Valentine’s Day parties will be here! Skip the lines at the store and get crafty on a dime! These are easy to make, fun to give, and will be a hit with the kids!

The holidays also bring so many sweets and loads of sugar for my little ones. While I do not deprive my children of sugar by any means, I do like to choose a sugar-free option when there is a good alternative. We (the fabs) have been hard at work putting together some creative and frugal non- candy valentines day card options for you.

Let your Valentine know they are “Putty” good!

You will need:

• Mini Noise Putty
  • Who doesn’t love noise putty?! I can already see all of the kids trying to compete to get the best noise!
• Self Sealing Cello Bags
• Free Printable Putty Good Valentine Card <<— download and print!

DIY Mini Noise Putty Alternative

If you don’t want to buy the mini noise putty, you can try making your own homemade gak and then buying small containers and filling them with it. I haven’t tried it myself but it should work the same way! Plus, since it’s homemade you can customize the colors.

Total Cost (Approximate)

Prices fluctuate often so my cost may not be the exact same as yours, but it should be pretty similar. My total cost for 40 kids will be $0.26 each! In just a few clicks, printing, cutting, and assembling, you’ll be on your way, and can cross this off of your list!

Note: If you use the homemade gak instead of the store-bought mini noise putty, this craft should cost you even less!
