“Just Dropping in…” DIY Paratrooper Valentine Card

Valentine’s Day is a time of loving, and I often find that all that love means lots of candy and tasty treats! Now don’t get me wrong, I love all that stuff, but sometimes you just want to do something a bit different. That’s why non-candy Valentine’s Day gifts are fun too!

This paratrooper Valentine is super fun for little kids. My boys love to play with these. I can often find the boys out back throwing the paratroopers up in the air or launching them off of the trampoline during a big jump!

With that being said, I think this Valentine is best suited for preschool or elementary school children, as they’ll have the most fun with these toys! If you’re planning to do this for an entire class it’s great because the paratroopers come in 6 different colors so not everyone will get the same thing!

PS. Another thing that’s really fun to do with the family around Valentine’s Day is to make some crafts together!

Paratrooper Valentine Supplies:

You could try tying the paratroopers onto your card if you punch a hole in the card, but I used the cello bags when I made mine. They were easy and quick. If you try the tying method let me know how it goes!

You’ll see that we did not create a to and from space on this card, but it is cute to write over the red chevron with a sharpie marker. We left it blank for you to choose the way you want it to look.

See below how nice the paratrooper fits in the cello bag with the Valentine card. Plus find out what my total cost per Valentine turned out to be…

Total Cost Per Paratrooper Valentine Goodie Bag

I was so pleased that my paratroopers arrived in just two days. Since I bought a large amount of cello bags I’m planning to split them with a friend who’s doing another similar idea for her kids’ Valentines. I recommend you do the same if you don’t want to be left with extra bags!

In the end, this Paratrooper Valentine worked out really well! My total cost for 24 kids was only $0.21 each! Note that prices change often and your cost per goodie bag could be less or more, this is just to give you an idea of the price.
