Trick or Treat! Halloween Restaurant Deals

Every Halloween there are restaurants vying for the business of the all too familiar “I just need to feed them something and I don’t have time to cook” crowds. Lucky for us, that usually means promotions to get people in the door!

I’ve rounded up the 2019 Halloween food deals and freebies for you to take advantage of! In some cases, you just go trick or treat at the restaurant and get something in exchange!

From free kids meals to sweet deals on frosty’s, we’ve got ya covered! Check out these 2019 Halloween Restaurant Deals!

1. Outback Steakhouse

Little ghosts and goblins can score a free kid’s meal with the purchase of an adult entree. What a great excuse to treat yourself to a steak dinner!

Note: This deal was available in 2018 so we’re hoping Outback brings it back for 2019 too. No word from them yet though.

2. McAlister’s Deli

McAlister’s Deli is offering a free kids meal, at select locations, to kids 12 and under in costumes when they bring along a paying adult. Stop over at your local shop to see if they are participating!

3. Chipotle

Rock your Halloween costume to your local Chipotle Restaraunt and score a ghoulish boorito, salad, bowl, or order of tacos for only $4 on October 31st from 3 pm to close. Get yourself some spicy goodness before you freeze with your little trick-or-treaters!

4. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

Head over to Dickey’s Barbecue on Halloween and score $5 off a Dickey’s Family Pack. Dickey’s is a good place to get some protein in the kids’ tummies before they fill them with sugar!

5. Penn Station East Coast Subs

Test your skills on Penn Station’s online Halloween Hangman Game, now through October 31st. Solve the puzzle, and you’ll score some fun prizes, including money-saving coupons.

Note: This one was available in 2018, but we’re not sure if it’s coming back. We’re keeping this up just in case.

6. Sonic Drive-In

Stop in at Sonic on Halloween and score $0.50 corn dogs all day! Get a couple of corn dogs in their bellies, and your little ghosts and goblins will be ready to take on the neighborhood!

7. Krispy Kreme

If you love donuts, October 31st is your lucky day! Anyone, no matter their age, who is dressed in a costume on Halloween can score a free donut at Krispy Kreme. They even have some really sweet Halloween exclusive donuts!

8. Burgerfi

Anyone in a costume can score a free Frozen Custard or Small Fry on October 31st, no purchase is necessary. They ask that you remove your masks before you enter.

9. Baskin Robbins

Head over to Baskin Robbins on Halloween and score a scoop of any one of their 31 flavors for $1.70. Don’t forget to try out their Treat Oreo and Trick Pumpkin Pie flavors.

10. Wendy’s

Head over Wendy’s anytime between now and October 31st to purchase Boo Books for $1. Each Boo Book contains 5 coupons for a free Junior Frosty with any purchase. The best part about this deal? Proceeds from each book will be donated to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

11. IHOP

Until November 3rd, kids 12 and under eat free at IHOP from 4-10PM. They’ll get one free entree with each adult entree. Also, IHOP currently has a limited time Addams Family menu which is spookily delicious looking!

12. Ruby’s Diner

At Ruby’s Diner, the fun isn’t limited to just Halloween. Take your costumed child to a participating restaurant any day in October and they will receive a free kid’s meal with the purchase of an adult entree.

Also, Ruby’s Diner currently has a promotion for Tuesday Family Nights where kids 12 and under can eat free from 4:00pm until closing!

13. Joe’s Crab Shack

On October 31st, present your coupon at Joe’s Crab Shack and score a free kid’s meal with the purchase of an adult entree. Costumes are not required but they are encouraged!

14. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

Kids can score a free kid’s meal with the purchase of an adult meal on Halloween. This is limited to one free kid’s meal per table. Check their website to find a location near you!

15. Jeremiah’s Ice

Anyone in a costume can score a free small menu item at Jeremiah’s Ice on Halloween! This treat is for moms too!

16. Chuck E. Cheese

Dress your kids up in costume and bring them to Chuck E. Cheese for a free 50 tickets!

17. Bass Pro Shops

On October 19 and 20, and from the 25th-31st, Bass Pro Shops will be hosting their Great Pumpkin Celebration! During this event, kids will be able to take a photo with the peanuts gang, do some free crafts, and if they’re in costume, they can join the costume parade.

The costume parade includes a bit of trick or treating (and candy) and a free giveaway! Note that not every activity happens every day of the event.

18. 99 Restaurants

Kids aged 10 and under eat free at 99 Restaurants with the purchase of an adult entree on October 31st!

19. Applebee’s

This is an adult-only Halloween food deal! Check out the $1 Vampire cocktail at participating Applebee’s restaurants. It’s a fruity drink with rum and it’s only available in October!

20. Cold Stone Creamery

This isn’t really a deal, but Cold Stone Creamery is offering black “boo batter” ice cream for the month of October! Definitely seems like a must-try.

21. Blaze Pizza

Pizza lovers gather round! Blaze Pizza is sending out 500 large pizza boxes with secret messages on them, only revealed by blacklight. If you’re one of the lucky ones to receive a special box, you could win a large pizza every week for a year ($1,500 value).

There are more prizes to be had as well and Blaze is also offering free delivery until November 7th, so start ordering!

22. Bruegger’s Bagels

On October 31s only you can get 13 freshly baked bagels from Bruegger’s Bagels for just $10.31! A perfect pre-trick or treating snack.

23. Cheesecake Factory

Ok, at this point you don’t even need to go trick-or-treating. Just stay inside and order from Cheesecake Factory! If you spend over $30 on Doordash using the code TREATORTREAT, you can get a free slice of Reese’s or Hersheys cheesecake. Yum!

24. Chili’s

For the entire month of October, try the new Chili’s Fangtastic ‘Rita for just $5. This fun Halloween margarita is a blend of Lunazul Blanco Tequila, Cointreau, Monin Blood Orange, and fresh sour mix.

25. Dunkin’

Dunkin’ has a couple of fun things lined up for Halloween! First, for the entire month of October, you can get any 10 Munchinks donut hole treats for just $2. You can also indulge in their limited time Spider Donut.

26. Friendly’s

Friendly’s deal is simple: kids in costume eat free with the purchase of an adult meal from October 25th to October 31st.

27. Insomnia Cookies

If you want some free food on Halloween, Insomnia Cookies is where it’s at! Show up wearing a costume in-store and you’ll score a free traditional cookie.

You can also take a picture of yourself in-store with your costume on and post it on any of your socials with the tag #trickortreatyoself for the chance to win a $100 Insomnia Cookies gift card.

Finally, if you can’t make it in-store, you can also get 10% off $10 or more online with the code TREAT10 through 3 am on November 4.

28. McDonald’s

McDonald’s has teamed up with Uber Eats this Halloween and is offering free delivery from October 26th to November 1st!

29. On the Border

Until November 3rd, enjoy the $5 Hallow ‘Rita at On The Border! This tasty looking drink comes topped with candy corn and a little spider.

30. Papa John’s

Papa John’s is offering a truly unique Jack-o-Lantern pizza this Halloween season for just $11! Note that the pizza comes uncut, but that makes it perfect for photos.

31. Popeye’s

Taste the sweet Voodoo chicken tenders at Popeye’s for just $5 a box! The meal also includes a side of your choice and a biscuit.

32. Potbelly

Potbelly was just added to Grubhub and to celebrate they’re offering free delivery and a free cookie on orders placed between October 25th and October 31st!

33. Red Lobster

Last but not least, Red Lobster is offering free delivery on October 31st on orders over $30! Just use the code LOBSTER62 at checkout.
