DIY Instagram Display
Do y’all love Instagram as much as I do? I’ve had an account for about a year and decided I needed to print out some pictures and display them because they are so cute and fun. I searched Pinterest for ideas, but didn’t love anything I saw. I wanted something that was quick to make, inexpensive and easy to change out my photos. Here is what I came up with:

Here’s what you need to make your own:
Black Foam Board
Small Metal Binder Clips (I found mine at Target for $2/5)
Exacto knife
Cutting Mat
Glue gun
Measuring tape or yard stick
Pencil or chalk
Instagram Prints (I got mine from Foxgram)
I thought black foam board would be perfect for this project because it is inexpensive and lightweight. You can find it anywhere for $2-$3. The dollar store has it, but it is white on the inside and I wanted solid black.
I decided I wanted my foam board to be a square, since the Instagram prints are square so I cut my board to 20X20 inches. This is when a yardstick would be handy, I couldn’t find mine so I had to improvise. The first one I made a chalk line and cut on that. I didn’t cut very straight so the next time I drew the line with a pencil and used the ruler to help me stay straight while I cut
Make sure you put a Cutting Mat under your foam bard so you don’t cut your table.
I didn’t cut the board all the way through so I had to put it up like this and finish cutting it.
Once it is cut, I used my prints to figure out my spacing for my metal clips.
I put a mark on the board at 2, 6, 10, 14 and 18 inches. For the next row I went down 4 inches and put marks on the same column. Repeat down the board every 4 inches.
Now you are ready to hot glue the clips on. I used my mini low temp glue gun so I wouldn’t burn my fingers as badly. Fold up the clip and put some glue on one side and place on your mark. Hold for a few seconds to make sure the glue is cooled. Continue with the rest of the clips.
Clean up all the hot glue strings.
Now you are ready to put your prints on it!
I looked into a few different options for printing out my Instagram pictures. I decided to go with Foxgram and couldn’t be more happy. They have an app that you can put on your phone or you can place your order online. I went online and linked it to my Instagram account. I selected the pictures I wanted to print and they arrived in less than a week! The best part is shipping is only 99 cents!

Once you get all your pictures on you are ready to hang it up. I used my favorite 3M Picture Hanging Strips on the back of the foam board.
I put 1 in each corner and hung them up. I love how they look in my kitchen. My kids were so excited to see them when they woke up the next morning. Every time I look at them I am reminded of some happy times. One of the best parts is the whole project, prints included was around $20!
