What Is Every Kid Outdoors?

What better way to spend summer then in the great outdoors! Every Kid Outdoors is a program that encourages young kids and their families to get out in nature and explore. “Leave only Footprints. Take only pictures.” All U.S. Fourth Graders, both in-school and home-school, can get a free annual pass to any Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee parks. The Forest Service, the National Park Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, and Bureau of Reclamation are all included if the park is an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee park. If you have any questions, don’t forget to contact the local park you are interested in visiting to make sure they are included in the free parks list.

How Can You Get Your Fourth Grader’s Free Pass?

4th graders will need to print off their annual pass to be admitted into the park for free. Want even better news? If the park has an entrance fee per vehicle, with your 4th graders pass, your whole car is able to get into the park for free as well. If the park is a per person entrance fee, the pass covers the pass holder and three accompanying adults (ages 16 and up).
