My kids are heading back to school next week, and fall sports have already started. Needless to say, the fall busyness will only get more crazy. That’s why I love to prepare and freeze meal recipes for later. And, with the air fryer, cooking dinner has never been easier. How to Cook Freezer Meals in the Air Fryer

If you have tried a recipe from us before then you know how much we love making make-ahead and freezer meals. But before a couple weeks ago, I haven’t actually tried cooking the freezer meals in the air fryer. I was surprised to find that it is so easy.

For most freezer meals in the air fryer, you will want to pull it out the night before and place it in the fridge to thaw. I like to set an alarm on my phone the night before to remind me to do this.

To cook in the air fryer after freezing: Pull out the peppers the morning you plan on using them. Then cook at 350°F/175°C for 10 minutes. Check on them, add cheese, then cook for an additional 5 minutes.

To cook in the air fryer after freezing: Take out of the freezer the morning of using. Since the marinade is a soy sauce base, sometimes it can overwhelm the beef and veggies. To avoid this, about 3 hours before cooking, get a bowl, a strainer, and a plate. Place the strainer in the bowl, dump out the marinade into the strainer/bowl. Leave the beef and veggies in the strainer and the marinade in the bowl. Cover with the plate and place back in the refrigerator until you are ready to cook.

To cook in the air fryer after freezing: Pull out the night before and place it in a bowl in the refrigerator so that it doesn’t leak in the fridge. When you are ready to cook in the air fryer, dump out the marinade in a bowl through a strainer. Then place the chicken, vegetables, and pineapple in the air fryer basket and cook for 16 minutes at 380F/190C, flip at the halfway point.
