It all began on October 8th, 2008. Cathy and Monica started this coupon blog to help friends and family learn about their new money saving hobby couponing! Since then they have taught thousands of women (and men)

The registers at my Rite Aid won’t scan another cents off coupon when a B1G1 has already been scanned. I know it used to work, but it doesn’t anymore. And I’m pretty sure it would still do the same thing if the cents off was scanned first. So just warning folks, YMMV.
If that is the case your cashier/manager should be able to manually enter the coupon for you (never hurts to ask!). Per the coupon policy:
“A customer can use one “cents off” coupon (a coupon of fixed value such as $.50, $1.25, etc.) in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion (or with a Buy One, Get One Free coupon), although the value of the cents off coupon cannot exceed the selling price of the item.”
Does this work if I buy 4; and use 2 x B1G1 and 2 x $2/2 coupons?
I only have 2 of the B1G1…..thanks in advance!!
No, because you must purchase $15 (pre coupon total) to get the $5 +up. There are other items in the promo you can use also, and on four items you could use (2) B1G1 and only (1) $2/2.
Clear as mud?!?!
Ah yes! Thank you for clarifying !
I didn’t see the $15 (pre coupon total) part.
